Sunday is the Best Day to Cram

I actually did not do anything progressive this passed semestral break. I almost did the same thing every day. I watched television. I went online on Facebook. I played a game on the phone. I just did the same except for the days we went out. We went out on Wednesday to celebrate the birthday of my aunt and also to visit the tomb of my grandparents from my mother's side at Manila Memorial Park. We spent 2 hours there, sitting with my relatives. After that, we went to a restaurant. I rode my cousin's car. We arrived late at the restaurant. We ate as many as e can because it was a buffet restaurant. We arrived home at :00 am because when we were about to switch the car we rode from the restaurant to my uncle's house, it became locked from the inside. We even broke the window just to open it to get our things. On Friday, we went to Ternate to visit the grave of my grandparents from my fahter's side. After that, we went to the mall to buy some things. Then, Sunday came. I'm still not doing any homeworks. When the night came, I did all my assignments up to 2:00 am. But, before doing my assignments, I drank coffee that's why I didn't get enough sleep./

Love: Easier to Say But Harder to Do

        I have been in love for almost a year. She was my best friend ever since second year. Whenever you are in love, it feels like you already found the reason why you are going to school (other than studying and friends).
        I have three definitions of love. (1) Love is the ability that God gave us to express our  appreciation to somebody. (2) Love is the reason why we still keep on living (love from family, friends etc.). (3) Love is also the reason why most of us feel depressed, sad and devastated. Love has many levels. Love can be a family love or friendly love. Friendly love is often considered as rejection by many people who confesses their love but they turned out to be as his friend only. I actually experience this three times already since I started high school. I was really depressed. I even cried three times because of them. The first girl who made me cry was my classmate during our first year. At first, we pretended to be in a relationship because of an issue until I realized that I am already in love with her. The next girl was my classmate when I was in second year. She really saw me as a friend only so I can't do anything about it. And the third girl, it also happened when we were second year. She was my best friend. We were always going to the canteen together. Even some of my classmates suspected that there was something going on between us which I hope to happen but there's none.
          I would love a woman for she has a sincere personality. I would love a woman because I saw the qualities of my mom which a woman could only have.  

The Most Valuable Resource in Education

"A teacher is like a candle which consumes itself to light the way for others."

                 Teaching is a noble profession. teachers educate us with all of their knowledge. Education is the key to success, but where can we usually acquire education? From school, right?  From whom do we get it from school? From the teachers, meaning to say, the teachers are part of the key to our success so we don't have the rights to disregard everything that they did for us.

                We should thank our teacher for the struggle that they did in order to teach everyone of us, for checking our exams with our astonishing scores, and for clarifying things further so we can understand them easily and so many other things. We should appreciate our teacher for her patience with us students and for supporting us in the activities in our school.

              Thank you for making our lives different. Thank you for leading us the right way in order to reach our goal.

The Union of the Astounding Shakespearean Masterpieces

On a dark night, a ghost walks in the premises of the Elsinore Castle in Denmark. It was first discovered by a pair of watchmen, Barnardo and Francisco. The both of them told Horatio about the ghost. Horatio told them that it was a bad thing. He said, “The ghost is definitely something to worry about. In the high and mighty Roman Empire just before the emperor Julius Caesar was assassinated, corpses roses out of their graves and ran through the streets of Rome, speaking gibberish. There were shooting stars and blood mixed in the morning dew and threatening signs from the sun’s face. The moon which controls the tides were so eclipsed it almost went completely out”. The ghost then appeared to Horatio which proves everything. He told it to Hamlet. Hamlet then walks to see it his own eyes. That ghost was look like his father. When he saw the ghost, it speaks to him. The ghost told him that he was murdered by none other than Claudius.

Prince Hamlet then devotes himself to avenge for his father. But then because of his thoughtful nature, he delays his revenge entering to a deep melancholy and apparent craziness.   

Polonius, the lord of chamberlain, suggests that Hamlet maybe obsessed to his one and only daughter Ophelia. That time also is the departure of the son of Polonius, which is Laertes. Laetes is going to France to study.

When Laertes went to France, Italy where he met the couples from Messina named Hero and Claudio, and, Beatrice and Benedick. They were newly-wed couple. Laertes noticed how Benedick mocks Beatrice. They were like children.

Laertes is having a good time with the two couples when a messenger went to him and told him that his sister and father had died.

Due to his anger he went back to Denmark. He blamed Hamlet for the death of his father and sister. Laertes agreed then in the plan of Claudius and has a battle with Hamlet. Unfortunately Laertes died the same with Claudius, Gertrude and Hamlet. OnlyHoratio live and told the tragedy of Hamlet to the Prince of Norway, Fontribas.

Prince Fontribas returned to Norway with the story. But too much concentration of Norway to Denmark they haven’t notice the army of Scotland which is led by Thane of Glamis, Macbeth.

The Scotland army defeated the Norway. Macbeth returned to Scotland together with his friend Banquo. In their way home they met three witches. This witches told them about a prophecy.

When the three witches are done with their task with Macbeth, they flew away. One of the three witches is the godess of witchcraft, Hecate. Hecate went to Athens to watch the marriage of three couples here. It was the wedding of Theseus to Hippolyta, Lysander to Hermia and Demetrius to Helena.

In the wedding there was the king of fairies Oberon. After the wedding, Oberon went straight to a strange island where he had to go to meet a sorcerer. This sorcerer was named Prospero. He asked Oberon to spill some secrets of how he could make a tempest.

When Oberon thought him, Prospero used it to make a tempest that could make a ship to wreck in the sea. That ship contains the king of Naples, Alonso and his son, Ferdinand.

But Prospero doesn’t know that there were two ships sailing on that sea. The other ship contains the family of Egeon. Egeon with his wife Emilia and his twin (both named Antipholus) were separated. One of the Antipholus grew up in Ephesus and the other one grew up in Syracuse.

Antipholus of Syracuse became a traveler. He travels all over the world just to find his twin brother. One time when he is traveling he stopped in the place of Verona. There he found the statue of Romeo Montague and Juliet Montague. This tragic love story is about two people who were unlucky of their households.

After some traveling Antipholus of Syracuse then found his long lost brother which is living in the Ephesus. Antipholus of Syracuse found her love with the sister of her sister-in-law, Luciana.

Now then the family lives together and they lived happily ever after.

Do Not Be Deceived From What You See

                    "Foul is fair, fair is foul", we all know that this famous line came from William Shakespeare's masterpiece Macbeth. This means that appearances can be deceiving. What appears to be good, can be ,actually , bad. Love is an important part of living a life. But, how can you call it love if it is full of lies in the first place? What if you're the only one treating it as love. not him?

                     Like when finding a person whom you will love. Nowadays, if the person is good-looking, you already love him. His eyes, mouth, and the rest of his physical aspects, you are being obsessed with them. But. what if he loves you just because of something? he loves you because of your money? His looks are just a trap for luring you so he can get what he wants from you. Basically, he is just using you. If he already got all the things he want from you, he will leave you. He will leave you without any mercy like nothing happened between you and him. 

                     To avoid things like this, every one of us should not make the appearance of a person as their basis for falling in love. We should know what he is from the inside not just only from the outside.

The Zenith of A Midsummer Night's Dream

For me, the climax of the piece is when Lysander and Demetrius fought for the love of Helena. At first, Helena thought that the two men is playing a joke on her and belives that Hermia is also involved. Hermia suspects that Helena stole the love of Lysander from her. Then, she concludes that Helena used her height to lure Lysander for Helena is taller than her. Hermia grows furious and threatens Helena. Helena became afraid for Hermia is quicker than her when it comes to fighting. Both men tried to tell Helena that they will protect her from Hermia but they got easily angry to each other that they went off to the forest to have a duel. Helena ran away due to her fear from Hermia. And, Hermia leaves after declaring her amazement to the sudden turn of events.

Forgive = Forget

"Forgiveness means letting go of the past". This line is easy to say but much harder to do. Forgiving and forgetting is very important in moving forwards. They said that we just need to keep moving forward, but how can we move forward if we, ourselves, cannot forgive and forget such a simple thing?
For example, a teacher held up a blue book and he said that the book was white. All of the students said no and the teacher said yes, all of them are saying that he is not right until he turned the book around and the back cover was white. And then he said, "Don't tell somebody that they are wrong until you've seen things from their point of view"
As you can see it's just a matter of perspective, just like arguments. It brings questions like "Is he really the one wrong here? or is it me?" Because in someone else's eyes, maybe you're the wrong one instead of the person you had an argument with.
If you are having misunderstandings with others, be sure to check whether you are right or you are wrong. Always remind yourself that this is just a part of your life. Everything is going to be alright. As the time passes, we will forget this until we make our minds up and forgive.
